Krank grinding is a process used to rectify deformations, dimensional inaccuracies, and wear on the crankshaft. By grinding the crankshaft, all the deformations occurring during the process are eliminated, and a good surface quality and oil film lubrication are achieved through the application of polishing.

During the crank grinding process, specialized grinding machines and equipment are utilized. The deformations and dimensional inaccuracies on the crankshaft surface are corrected using a grinding wheel on the grinding machine. To ensure a high-quality surface finish and improved oil film lubrication, polishing is applied to address any remaining deformations.
